Course Description
“Is euthanasia morally permissible?”; “Do we have free will?”; “How can we know that we’re not in the Matrix?” These are examples of philosophical questions that we will consider throughout this course. In order to tackle these and related issues, we will learn how to evaluate arguments and put these skills into practice by critically examining the works of other philosophers. This will then help us to develop our own positions and support them with compelling philosophical arguments.
