I’m a writer and academic philosopher based in Minnesota, where I live with my husband, Erich Kummerfeld, and our two children.
My academic work focuses on the history and philosophy of mathematics as well as epistemology. I completed my PhD in Logic, Computation, and Methodology at Carnegie Mellon University in 2015. I have taught undergraduate and graduate level classes with both mathematical and philosophical content. You can find more information, including copies of my published papers as well as syllabi and sample teaching materials, on my research and teaching pages.
I also have two blogs. Mindfully Uplifting focuses on gentle techniques for finding joy in every day life. Safe Not Scammed offers practical advice for staying safe online.
